Hello

We’re Sarah and Louise, the team behind Rose and Thistle Photography. Located on the outskirts of Dunfermline, our indoor studio and secure paddock provide settings for both studio portraits and seasonal outdoor images, weather permitting.

As pet owners, we have more photos of our dogs and cats than of people! We welcome pets of every kind—from dogs, cats, horses, and rabbits to any furry or not-so-furry companion that you love.

Our approach is relaxed, playful, and entirely pet-led—because, honestly, they’re the ones in charge. We capture wagging tails, wonky ears, dramatic side-eyes, surprise zoomies, and all the wonderfully quirky details that make your pet your pet.
