The Photo Shoot…..

Here is what to expect before, during, and after your pet photography session. These practical steps will help your pet settle comfortably and allow us to make the most of your time in the studio.

Booking and planning
When you are ready, select and pay for your session. We will then contact you by email or text to arrange a discussion about the shoot. It would be helpful if you could send us a photo of your pet prior to the shoot to enable us to plan ahead.

Before and on arrival
Please make sure your pet has been to the toilet before the shoot. When you arrive, we will welcome you and take you through to the studio. We will spend time helping your pet become familiar with us, the space, and the flashing lights. Once we are confident that your pet is comfortable with the lights, we will begin the shoot.

During the shoot
In most sessions, owners can sit back and relax while Sarah and I interact with the pet and capture the images. If your pet is particularly nervous, we may ask you to help, but this is rarely necessary. Most owners are happy to watch their pet become a supermodel.

Keeping distractions to a minimum
The studio may feel unfamiliar to your pet and can be distracting at first. To help them settle:
• If you have booked a one-pet session, please bring only that pet.
• For sessions with one or two pets, please limit the number of people attending.
• If several pets are taking part, extra help may be necessary.

Images, prints, and products
A few days after the shoot, you will receive your edited images online. You can review the images and select the image for printing (most packages include a 10 × 8-inch print).

A range of products will be on display and can be purchased for an additional cost, either at the end of the shoot or after you have viewed the final images. All products are supplied by a professional third-party printer based in Scotland. Some items may take up to 14 days to order and receive.

Combined indoor and outdoor package
For this package, the session will begin in the studio before moving to the secure outdoor paddock, weather permitting.
